Our Trip to Arizona, June 1 - 5, 2007

The first weekend of June we headed off to Phoenix to visit Bill's family as well as attend his high school's 25th reunion. We were greeted by triple degree weather. Needless to say we spent most of our time indoors or in the pool. Tyler seemed to take it all in stride though. Even though it was hot enough to fry an egg out Tyler had a grand time on the trampoline at the reunion on Saturday the 2nd. He also loved spending time with all of his girl cousins. I think more than anything he loved all the attention he got from them.

The visit also gave us the chance to visit with Bill's mom, who is going through chemotherapy. She was in good spirits when we saw her and is in good hands with Bill's dad taking care of her. We were a little bummed that Tyler was unable to visit with her though. Due to the chemotherapy lowering her immune system's ability to fight disease she is not allowed to spend time around young children (AKA Big Carriers of Colds).

We left really late and didn't get into Phoenix until close to 4 a.m. Saturday. On the way there Tyler catches some Z's.

At the reunion Tyler did pretty well his first time at a ping pong table.

Part of the class of 1982.

Tyler catches some air on the trampoline while Patty looks on.

It's hard to believe he only got a few hours of sleep the night before.

Bill, Jim & Dad got away to spend a little time at a local car show. Here Dad proudly shows off his masterpiece Mustang.

Dad and Jim (or is it Jim and Dad??)

Amy, that's not very nice. Funny, but not nice.

They're so cute when they sleep. It's too bad they have to wake up. Just kidding girls!! You know we love you!

Believe or not, Autumn was beating Bill and Jim at Call of Duty in these pictures. That's pretty sad guys.

Even baby Angel is a ham, just like the rest of the Roses.

Autumn, Tyler, Amber and Ashley hamming it up for the camera.

Jim doing his best deer in the headlights imitation.
